Rose Mary Huber has harbored a love of learning all of her life. The decision to pursue a career in education came naturally to her. She set the foundation for her career with the pursuit of her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Huber’s focus in Sociology helped to expand and evolve her own perspective on how humanity impacts the environment and everyone in it. She continues to echo that sentiment now as a naturalist volunteer.
California State University of Northridge
Rose Mary Huber earned her teaching certification from California State University of Northridge. For 23 years, Huber actively worked in California teaching at various schools and academic institutions. Although she is now retired, she is potentially open to the opportunity of collaborating with schools and nonformal education establishments in the State of California.
Teaching Experience
Throughout her 23 years of teaching, Rose Mary Huber was privileged to work as an educator in two different school districts in the State of California. She taught Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the Pleasant Valley School District after teaching Grade 6 in Oxnard Elementary School District. During her career, Huber maintained professional and community memberships within California Teachers’ Association, National Education Association and Parent Teacher Association.
